XBEE Integration on I/O Board

We are thinking about deleting the XBEE on I/O Board

It seems it would be harder to integrate on the Board

So, do you think it is necessary to persist to have an XBEE on I/O board?

In my opinion the Xbee is useless here. Especially if we consider the master Odroid board.

I still think some people will find it useful but I won’t fight for it so remove it if you need to.

Try to have the UART ports available and close to all the other I/O and Analog pins. Also think about having all the pins usable once the board is mounted in the head.

Yes I think it is still possible to allow the possibility to easily add the Xbee (with some small interface PCB).
But the Xbee directly on the IOBoard wastes to much space…

you can already make a shield easily for the integration for the XBEE ( I thinks it would take an half afternoon to make it for me)

And the UART is already available, so if it’s necessary, I can add a shield , Poppy compatible for the XBEE
