Thigh.sldprt errors for MX64 configurations

Hello everyone,

Here at work we are trying to build our own poppy. We have already successfully assembled the Poppy Torso, but now we are expanding to the Humanoid version. We have our own 3D-printing facilities.

We want to use Dynamixel MX64’s for the thighs (bent version), but there is a problem loading the configuration for that part in SolidWorks. This makes it a lot harder to create a proper STL-file for this part.

Did anyone else encounter this problem and/or have a solution?
Thanks in advance!

Tommie

Sorry for my late reply, I will take a look ASAP. Hopefully this WE.

Hello Matthieu,
Thanks for your reply! I’m curious if you encounter the same issue.

So indeed it does not work.
I’m trying to fix it.

Ok so I’ve fixed the rebuild errors. I’m not very proud but it does the job…

The new version is updated on Github: https://github.com/poppy-project/Poppy-lightweight-biped-legs/tree/master/parts

Sorry For the moment, I haven’t time to test it.
You should try the assembly et verify the dimensions are correct before printing it.

Thank you so much!
Haven’t been able to verify it yet, but it looks good!
