Poppy Cheaper Servos

I’m just completing the Inmoov robotic arm and would like to build Poppy next. The problem I’ve got is, I’m an OAP and can’t warrant spending that amount of cash on servos. Has anyone successfully built Poppy using cheaper servos. If so could you supply some details.

This is a relatively new project Im working on but it uses LX-16A servos.
